This Carol is one of my favorites. I love it because it speaks to the fact that Christ will come again and ransom all of us. Just as He was once here, so shall He come again. And this coming may be a personal coming, each and every day of our lives - not just on Christmas.
Emmanuel is Hebrew for "God is with us." He is with us. Never more so than on Christmas...
